The Best Restaurants in Ragusa Ibla

by

Matt Bird

Ragusa is a beautiful hilltop town. Ragusa Ibla is the old city and Ragusa the more modern. It is sometimes known as the ‘city of bridges’ because of the three bridges that connect the city together.

A View of the City

As part of the Val Di Noto it has been awarded a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its late baroque architecture.

If you are in south east Sicily visiting Ragusa Ibla is a must. You can check out where to go and what to do at my blog 'Your Visit To Ragusa Ibla'. This small city has some magnificent restaurants:

Duomo

Restaurant Duomo is located behind the Duomo or Cathedral of Ragusa Ibla. I recommend walking up Capitano Bocchieri on which the Cathedral comes into sight and as you approach the top of the hill the restaurant is on the left.

Under chef Ciccio Sultano Restaurant Duomo has been awarded two Michelin Stars ⭐️⭐️.
