About Matt Bird

Matt, or Matteo, as he is sometimes known in Sicily, lives between London and Dubai and his holiday home in Noto.

He dreamed of a home in the sun, and in 2021, he purchased a ‘fixer-upper’ in Noto, Sicily. The following week, he visited for the very first time and thankfully, he fell in love with the place, its people, and their way of life.

As a prolific author of more than twenty-five books he naturally began writing about Sicily and now posts a blog every week and has written two travel guides.

He is the CEO of PublishU coaching people to write their books and then publishing and marketing them worldwide. Every book published by PublishU has a place on the bookshelf at Matt's holiday home.
